Surgical masks are those we are used to seeing in clinical settings. Their purpose is to prevent transmission of infectious agents between healthcare personnel and infected (or suspected infected) patients.
These masks are designed to filter exhaled air. Their mission is to protect those around you by preventing viral spread when sneezing, coughing or talking.
They should have a mechanism that allows them to be tightly fitted over the wearer’s nose, mouth and chin.
These masks are Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are recommended primarily for use by professionals to create a barrier between a potential hazard and the wearer.
They may also be recommended for vulnerable groups by medical indication.
The purpose of PPE masks is to filter inhaled air, preventing the entry of contaminating particles into the body. Depending on their filtration efficiency, there are three types: FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3. Those with particle filters are divided into P1, P2 and P3.
For protection against COVID-19, the use of EPI FFP2 masks is recommended.
The Sixty Confort Group, to which Sanity Health belongs, is one of the national leaders in the manufacture of mattresses, with an annual production of 500,000 mattresses and facilities of 40,000m2.
In the health section, we have a wide range of options: sheathed mattresses, closed, profiled, viscoelastic, with latex, foams, springs, fireproof and hypoallergenic fabrics, etc. We make products à la carte.
We promote the service of the same in vacuum, in a protected atmosphere. In this way, we avoid contamination of the product until it is used.
During the COVID-19 crisis we have served hundreds of mattresses to different field hospitals, with the only interest of collaborating with the different institutions.
